href=\"https:\/\/mjbizdaily.com\/germanys-growing-medical-cannabis-extract-market-attracts-competition\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">extracts<\/a>\u00a0produced in Australia by two different companies are now available in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/mjbizdaily.com\/insurance-covered-medical-cannabis-reimbursements-decline-again-in-germany\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">German medical cannabis market<\/a>\u00a0for the first time,\u00a0<em>Marijuana Business Daily<\/em>\u00a0has learned.The flower, grown by New South Wales-based Australian Natural Therapeutics Group (ANTG), was imported and batch-released by Cologne-based Cannamedical.<\/p>\n\n<p>Cannamedical exclusively sells it to German pharmacies under the company\u2019s Cannamedical Indica forte brand.<\/p>\n\n<p>The batch-release certificate \u2013 seen by\u00a0<em>MJBizDaily<\/em>\u00a0\u2013 shows that the product has approximately 22% THC, no meaningful CBD and an expiration date of June 2021.<\/p>\n\n<p>The flower is not irradiated, Cannamedical CEO David Henn told\u00a0<em>Marijuana Business Daily<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n<p>The extracts are manufactured by Western Australia-based Little Green Pharma, which sent its first commercial\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/mjbizdaily.com\/australia-sends-first-commercial-cannabis-oil-export-to-germany\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">shipment to Germany in November.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n\n<p>The products were imported and batch-released in Germany by Aphria subsidiary CC Pharma and sold to pharmacies by German wholesalers AlephSana and AMP Alternative Medical Products, Fleta Solomon, managing director of Little Green Pharma, told\u00a0<em>MJBizDaily<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n<p>In all cases, the extracts are sold under the Little Green Pharma brand, with two formulations available \u2013 one is high in THC and the other is a balanced THC and CBD content:<\/p>\n\n<ul><li>LGP Classic Cannabis Extrakt 20:5.<\/li><li>LGP Classic Cannabis Extrakt 10:10.<\/li><\/ul>\n<p>With these new products, Australia joins a select number of countries supplying flower or full-spectrum extracts to the German medical cannabis market, including:<\/p>\n\n<ul><li>Canada.<\/li><li>The Netherlands.<\/li><li>Portugal (some of the product was originally\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/mjbizdaily.com\/uruguay-completes-another-large-export-of-high-thc-flower-to-portugal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">grown in Uruguay<\/a>).<\/li><li>Spain.<\/li><\/ul>\n<p>Other countries have conducted shipments to Germany, but they have been for scientific purposes.<\/p>\n\n<p>If products were shipped from other countries for commercial purposes, the products were not available to patients in the pharmacies usually surveyed by\u00a0<em>MJBizDaily<\/em>\u00a0as of the time of publishing.<\/p>\n\n<p>Shares of Little Green Pharma are traded on the Australian Securities Exchange as\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.asx.com.au\/markets\/company\/LGP\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer
